How to Measure

All our window blinds can be fitted either onto the top of the window lintel so that the blind lies against the wall (picture 1), or into a recessed window frame (picture 2). The choice is yours. Here's some guidance on how to get accurate measurements for your made to measure window blinds...



Outside Recess Hanging

If you want your blind to hang outside the window recess: Measure the exact drop as shown in picture 1. Note down the measurement. Measure the exact width of where you'd like your blind to be. Note down the measurement.

Inside Recess Hanging

If you want your blind to hang inside the window recess: Measure the drop by taking the measurement from the top of the recess to the window sill in 3 places as shown in picture 2. Note down the shortest measurement - this is the one we'll use. Measure the width of the recess from wall to wall in 3 places as shown. Note down the shortest measurement.
